Hey guys, new to the fourm.
Got a 07 Grand Vitara and looking at getting some lift.
Mostly for medium off roading, nothing too hectic.
Called around but most are over 1k, whats the best bang gor your buck when it comes to lifting the GV's?

Maybe a spacer lift if you want somthing cheaper? Rocky road still do one I believe for 40mm. If not ironman do one for 880. If not, call dank from kpd4x4 for dobinson for 40mm. If not, go to arb for old man emu. 20mm lift wont be cheap. If not get king springs. I wouldnt recommend it but I ran around with just springs 40mm raised with standard shocks and struts for a bit.

Yea not keen on blocks. Ome are not cheap but i had them on my patrol and can't fault them.
Might have to go that route.
Whats the highest one can reasonably go on a Vitara without changing anything other than suspension components?
Wouldn't mind a 2in lift

You'll find there's a reason OME only offer a small lift. I'm not saying there's a problem with Dobinson, but there are issues with the NGV suspension and they don't like lift. 40mm is 100% the absolute hard limit.
Bear in mind you're also likely to have reduced overall wheel travel with a lift that holds 40mm of height.
Steve.

Would you recommend going conservatively with the ome?
