Will 2008 swift seats go into my SJ70 on the standard rails without to much hassle?
Tried searching, Man its hard to get the info your after with the Search function

2008? golly, I wouldn't have though so. I originally typed out a response based on the earlier swift, which was definitely possible, but the 08 swift is a very different car. A tape measure and a good look will tell you.
Don't they have side airbags?

Tried them, they have a tilt adjustment that Makes the front rails quite hard to work with.

someone fitted late model jimny seats & by all reports they were AMAZING!!!!11!

it's possible to fit late model swift recaro seats into a jimny using the jimny seat frame & rail if that helps. there's a tutorial about it on bigjimny.com

I bolted in 2010 swift seat into my fist sj70 about 4 years ago.
i literally put four bolts through the rails and out the bottom of the car lol.
even though there was zero adjustment the positioning seemed perfect and they were super comfortable. The back tilt still worked like a charm. The plastics covering the inner sides of the chairs needed some modification
