What exactly would you like to convert your corolla too?
Or do you mean you want to make your corolla a convertible ?
Or this a corolla some sort of currency I haven't heard of??

Convert it at cash converters then put the $$ down on a deposit for a Sierra ?

if you are putting a corrolla engine in a sierra then what engine are you using ? K , T , 2T ,3K, etc etc etc

bit like saying you want to want to buy some teal slacks

Anything after *E70 (apart from the sprinter) should have the engine removed and then converted at Sims.

tech, don't bother.

Putting ancient corolla motors in sierras was fine in the early 80's, but it hasn't been a good idea since. They're heavy and the gearbox options don't work well in a Sierra.
I've driven a sierra with a 5K in it, it was torquey but it was a nasty conversion - clearances were poor, the transfer had to be moved back, and It wasn't any better than a G16A, although at the time (about 1995) G16A conversions were almost unheard of.
The biggest problem is it required an engineers certificate to re-register, so the car couldn't really ever be sold without spending a lot of money on it. Made a "cheap" conversion expensive.

I'm willing to bet it didn't, and it was just a poorly worded ad implying the sierra [i]transfer[i/] was used.

I've never seen or heard of a corolla/sierra adapter plate. I agree it might be the better solution, but a better solution again is to avoid the pushrod/cast iron corolla motors altogether.

it's a lot of work for a sideways step imo

Unless one of the other toyota engines is the 22re so you can use the short 1st gear hilux gearbox it's not really worth it.

Otherwise there are much better options these days for engine conversions. the 4age if you want a toyota engine springs to mind (lighter and more powerful than the 2T) and the obvious g16b
