Hi all. New to the site. I have a 2004 XL-7. Current mods worth mentioning are as follows:
*2 Inch Lift (Dobinson's)
*Uneek 4x4 Winch Bar
*Runva Winch
*FTS Snorkel
*FTS Underbody Guards
*LED Lights
*ARB Diff Breathers
*Sound System, etc.
*Locker - any options would be appreciated...

My question is I know, a much discussed one but I am looking at tyres. As you all know, the stock is 235/60/16. I want 235/70/16 on it.

I was advised the rear should be okay, but the front may be an issue. It has a Uneek 4x4 Bar on it (link below for your reference).

I''m sorry in advance if this has been much discussed but I am wishing to get the most current feedback from those that have tried this set up. Thanks again, and I look forward to chatting to you guys in the near future.

235/70R16 works out around 735mm O.D. - A more common size to run on a GV is 225/75R16 - which works out to be 744mm, so should fit ok with your 2" lift.
The rear mudflaps are the closest thing on the back, but should clear. Maybe the wheel arch lip from 11 to 2 might touch if heavily loaded & hitting a dip at highway speeds.
Front will get chassis rub at the back, but not really an issue. Uneek bars you would think would be designed to allow a bigger tyre than stock, so I'm going to say the front will be fine - but I don't know for sure.
