Will an xl7 h27a manual flywheel fit a GV?

Also, how do I get to the rear main seal in this?
I had a look in the service manual requests a special tool. anyway around it.

I'd assume if it did fit, I would need to buy the xl7 clutch?

The rear main is a pita to fit.
There is a Suzuki special tool that bolts to the crank, the new seal slips over that, the you wind on another cup arrangement that pushes the seal on.
They are soooo easy to cock up if trying to tap it in the old fashion way. The seal is not expensive, but it's hours of work if you need to pull the gearbox off again because it got damaged / is on slightly crooked (I don't think there is a stop to the rebate that it lives in, from memory, so no way to feel that it is in straight & 'home').
Worth trying to borrow the tool from a dealer or specialist imo.
Good luck, Michael

now I'm nervous. i have always just tapped them in. But i've never done one in a h25a.
The last thing I want to do is redo it as this has been a c-u-next-tuesday.
mines not leaking, maybe I should just leave it alone 8O which goes against everything

Its such a huge diameter the seal, I was lucky enough when I did mine I had a suzuki mechanic bring the special tool around for a carton of beer. I wouldn't like to stuff up a rear main seal, especially if you buy a genuine one.

We had a NGV 2.7 manual, bought cheapish & one of the reasons why, was that it had a leaking rear main.
The mechanic we employed at the time pulled it all to bits, tapped the seal in as per a 'normal' car (but had never done a H motor before) & it leaked worse than before he started.
He pulled it all apart again & invited me to have a go (I'd done it twice on my 1999 GV H25A - once with the tool & once without) which thankfully I got to go in successfully.
Boss hated the car though, so it has subsequently been sold, after 18months - 2 years of not leaking, but I would say that if you haven't done one of these seals before, your chances of getting it right without the special tool are less than 50 /50.
Good luck, Michael
