Hi Guys,

I got a 2001 Jimny a few weeks ago now. Just wondering about getting more onto the roof. I've been looking at the slimline 2 racks on far. Does anyone have one of these or recommend something similar but different. Would like to have a kayak + fuel 20ltrs + swag on roof so maybe 55kgs.
Any feed back would be appreciated.

The Front Runner racks are supposed to be very good, albeit a bit expensive. I also plan on the slimline II. The only recommendation I would give is to buy the model that replaces the factory roof rails rather than clamp to them (Full Cargo Rack Foot Rail Mount). You still need to be somewhat conservative with how much weight you load on it.

I would keep it below 50kg but that's just me
