Just cut the whole lot out and weld in some RHS.

Sierra with rust is no good, the cleaner the start you can get the better

Bugger Joe - My Uncle sold his Sierra to Brian not long ago for $3.5k - tidy stock sierra with no rust and a 1.6 EFI conversion, went over the pits etc etc. Was a steal.
