Allow about 2.5 hours in good weather.

Be aware that this road is closed over winter and is only accessible by clubs with the use of a permit scheme. It is subject to heavy snow and may be impassible.

yeah I've driven it in really heavy snow and couple of times. I'm heading over Queens birthday weekend so the roads still open then

the reason I asked is Google maps reckons 4 hours but I'm sure I did it way quicker than that years ago
