Hey all just wondering if anyone can tell me how strong the steel bar behind the front bumper is as I got given a home made bull bar that's not from a vitara (bolts on over the bumper) and trying to find a way to put it on

Nope.
That will do more damage to your car in the event of a front impact than having no bar at all, or will need to much rework to the mounts you might as well start from scratch.

An option would be to cut the bends out of it and use them as the basis for a new bar, but from experience bulbars require quite a lot of fabrication ability to get right and are very time consuming to build well.

Did some very rough measuring on my cousins 04 hilux and found out the bull bar is almost the correct width so might try one of those if I can find one cos starting from scratch by myself is a bit too much
