Hello all,
Just joined the board, have recently bought a non-going mchine from country Vic so I thought I wld give everyone a peek
All parts donations and advice welcome
So the story begins
1. The car was bought as non-goer and trailered back. The reason why I made the purchase is because of the totally rust free body and chassis. The Nippon god has smiled on this unit!!
:peaceout:
2. While the engine was a non runner, it was all good inside, with bores, cams, head all OK
3. The rest is pretty much downhill
a. the transfer box has 2 stuffed bearings and mid shaft
b. all the axle bearings are gone
c. one of the diff bearings is gone
d. all the brakes are RS
... keep watching for fots

Pics work for me?

That's crazy neat for an old LJ! Shame about the hacked up roof!

Try a different browser perhaps? I'm using Chrome on Mac and I'm seeing them.

Technology is a fickle beast

Is it a stockman or early LJ80? Stockmans have a different relay link bushings. People have pressed bearings in to replace the bushings.

Suzuki still sell the large majority of serviceable parts on LJs. You can chase a local dealer price but megazip has been much cheaper for me, quicker too. All parts from megazip are genuine.

Steering boxes are different and have no interchangeable or replaceable service parts.
