Hi Guys,

checking my newly purchased SWB MY13 grand vitara and discovered the plastic sill pannel between the front door and the rear wheel arch - looks like an insane mud+rust trap and mine is full of firetrail sand!!!

anyone noticed this or having issues?

I want to modify this to either seal the edge where the debris gets in OR cut it open so it self-clears or can easily be washed out with the hose

Don’t try and seal it up. It will create a bigger problem.

Yeah - i'm going to seal the wheel-well edge by putting some split-hose edging along the section open in the wheel well to reduce the volume of stuff that gets thrown in there off the tyre and leave the bottom open -

I also might have found an electronic rust proof module too - rip that out ASAP!
