Ok so I need new tires for my lj81 and have found some sierra muddies with Sierra rims will these fit or will they rub really bad there 235/75r15 (29”)

Ok thank you and was only concerned as the tires on it scrub on the suspension

It’s rim offset that’s causing the scrubbing problem, not that tyre size, but 205’s are a largish tyre

Yeah, they'l rub on the springs on the full lock. It's no big deal, sounds terrible though.

Gazillions of people have run 235's on LJ's. A 6" rim with a small negative backspacing (-10 or so) would be far better than a 5.5"rim for a 235. 5.5 is a bit too narrow.
