After filling up my new Jimny at the servo today, it wouldn't unlock with the key fob. I used the actual key to get in, and when I started it up noticed that the clock on the dash had reset, trip meter had reset, and the "fuel range" isnt working and just showing "- - -".

Everything else seems fine after driving about 20kms since, and it's locking and opening fine. It's just the fuel range function on the dash is still showing "- - -". The infotainment screen wasnt affected at all, the radio presets werent wiped or anything.

Any ideas? I checked that both battery leads were still hooked-up and secure under the bonnet, nothing seems obviously wrong either around the battery. I thought maybe it was just the battery in the key fob at first, but that wouldnt explain the random dash errors...

The dealer can probably check fault codes - maybe a sensor has been knocked loose or something silly?
