Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a diagram/explanation of which colour wires are for what out of the factory loom. In particular, the looms that come down the front left and right fenders towards the headlights.

Previous owner was obviously a butcher because where it comes out of the factory loom looks like mummas spag bowl.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ack's FAQ will have Samurai diagrams that show the wire colors - Suzuki was very consistent with wiring colors, and in most cases used the same colors for the same circuits across most models.

From memory - red/yellow for park lights, red & red/white for headlights high & low beam, white/red & white/blue for headlight constant feed.

alrighty guys thank for your help.
using the diagram that Blkfxx gave me ive got most of it nutted out.

The issue I'm having now is with the stock headlight wiring. According to the diagram red to the right side, W/r to the centre and r/w to the left side.
I've done this and the standard beams work, however the highbeam dash light is on. When i use the stalk to turn the high beams on, the lights switch off and so does the highbeam dash light. Any ideas? wiring is stock loom right through, all fuses are good. Seems like something is backwards, just not sure what.

Diagram is correct if you look at the filaments but not from a plug perspective.

Plug colours are:

Left headlight - Left wire= W/BL, Top = R, Right = R/W
Right Headlight - Left wire = W/R, Top = R, Right = R/W
