Hi all,
Iv recently purchased a 89 Vitara. The front seats have perished and I was curious if other models fit in the rails or what other seats will fit?

Not really. Vitaras have an awkward offset rail setup that is difficult to work with.

What would you recommend a good fit/fix for those seats?
I’d be happy to alter the rails if necessary

It depends on how concerned you are about legality and your fabrication skills. Sorry, there’s no easy answer. If you can fabricate I’m sure you can make other seats work, but if you need to ask, you might be better to find some vitara seats in better condition.
