Hi there, I'm thinking of getting a 2" lift kit for my Jimny. I was set to get the Black raptor premium kit with adjustable shocks from jimnybits since I've heard very positive reviews about them from fellow Jimny drivers. But lately I've discovered that Dobinson's has a kit designed for the new Jimny as well. My gut feeling tells me that the Dobinson's kit would likely be better built with more quality components due to the brand name, even though both kits are similarly priced. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with it, especially the lighter load variation (50mm stock load). I usually run very light and wouldn't want an overly harsh suspension.

I just fitted dobinsons to my Jeep and it drives brilliantly. If they have MRR shocks for the jimny I would be looking at them.
Are you in QLD? I stumbled across a fella that only fits dobinson suspension and he did a brilliant job on my Jeep and as a bonus was the same price fitted as everyone else charges for supply only
I haven't tried the Dobinson's kit on the new Jimny specifically, but my experience with Dobinson has been that that even their light load springs have been excessively stiff - when I do get around to swapping out the suspension, it'll be Old Man Emu
