Vehicle: Suzuki Grand Vitara SQ420

Greetings all,

I have just brought myself a Grand Vitara SQ420 3 door and the transmission is grinding into 2nd and 3rd. I suspect synchro issue. I have just replaced the slave and master cylinder but issue remains.

Trying to look at getting a replacement transmission or getting parts to rebuild but can not find the transmission type or model number anywhere. Does anyone know at all?

I am unfamiliar with your particular model but does it have a gearbox code on the VIN plate like some cars do?
