Hey everyone,

I’ve recently purchased a 1991 Vitara with the G16A in it and looking at what’s the recommended or upgraded parts for the list below:

- Ignition Coil
- Spark plugs and leads
- Distributor
- Carburettor upgrade or rebuild if the stock carby is the best

Basically looking to change a few things out due to a bit of a rough idle and stalling once it’s warm at a set of lights.
Drives great, sits on 100km perfectly fine, then will go to a set of stop lights and will either stall if I don’t hold up the revs a little or will bounce between 0rpm-500pm

Plugs, leads, distributor rotor & cap - for no other reason than they are tune-up/maintenance items and most likely have been done in a while, NGK copper plugs are fine, as any any decent set of leads, nothing special needed.

For the stalling, make sure the EGR valve is clean & not sticking open or partially open.
