G'day guys, does anyone know to change my stud pattern to that of a 79 series 5 stud if at all possible, I don't have the brain power to figure it out.
cheers

The rear drums are easy- have a machine shop re drill the new pattern. I don’t think it’s easily achievable with the front hubs. It would require the existing stud holes to be welded up and new holes drilled. There isn’t much meat to work with. What rim size and offset are you chasing? Rims and tyres suitable for a 79 series will perform poorly on a sierra due to their weight and stiffness

The cost of machining, new studs, wheel nuts, etc will make the cheap wheels very expensive, even if there is sufficient material in the front hubs to space the stud out 12.7mm (I’m pretty sure there isn’t) Any tyre that requires a 17x8” wheel will be very big and heavy and require substantial work to the car to fit.
