I put in seats from a BMW E30 3 Series convertible (~1982 -1989). Very comfortable - just had to drill not mounting holes.

I might just have to follow in everyones footsteps and go for this. My seats are stuffed, amd you don't realise until you spend a decent amount of time in them how much a nice seat affects you.

When fitting seats do you use the standard rails or the rails that come with the seat??

I have the baleno glx seat (Look the same as GTI seats) that I mentioned above and bolted the sierra rails to it but when I tried to fit them to the car they are sitting to wide for the standard mounting holes

pictures in my build

Tried to install baleno GLX seats today

What rails dose everyone use the ones that come with the seats or the sierra rails (baleno rails seem too long)

Drivers side -

I'm about to hit the wreckers looking for some seats and don't wanna waste their time with fuzzy details.
Can some one clarify which years or models of Swift or Baleno I'm looking to get some seats from?

If it's the older models they may be harder to find in good condition so wanna get my facts right before i call.

I thought there were compliance issues with changing seats. (QLD) Are there?

S13 Silvia/180sx seats.

I had to make an angle bracket for the front which was straight forward, the backs just about matched up. These were extremely comfortable, and they often go cheap.
