From what you are saying Atari I believe you would connect into the solid red wire that as per my pic is connected to the drive position on the headlight.
Would you also have the negative high beam switching wire as the one marked as ground on the light plug?
EDIT: missed this, yeah that sounds right

FOR VEHICLES WITH NEGATIVE (-) HIGH BEAM SWITCHING
1. Remove the negative (-) cable of the battery to prevent short circuits.
2. Connect the relay to the 4 pole connector in the wiring harness.
3. Lay out the wiring loom in the engine bay and locate a convenient spot to install the relay.
4. Thread the red/white/black wires with the 3 pole connector into an existing grommet on the firewall and pull it inside the vehicle.
5. Connect the 3 pole connection harness to the switch harness inside the vehicle.
6. Secure the switch with double sided tape supplied.
7. Connect the 2amp fused red wire to constant positive (+) at headlamp using Quick Connect, and connect negative (-) black wire from the relay to negative (-) high beam switching wire on the headlamp. This wire may need to be extended. Insulate and protect connections with electrical tape.
8. Connect black wire from switching harness with ring terminal to bare metal earth.
9. Connect the relay harness to the terminals from the lamps.
10. Secure all the cables with cable ties.
11. Connect the ring terminal of the red wire with the 15amp fuse on the relay harness to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
12. After Installation check for correct wiring and connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
