I hope you're camping for a while because even an air bed takes forever to air up with a compressor suitable for tyres. Tyres need pressure. Toys need volume. Different tools for different jobs.
That was a joke. Just for tyres. But want it to be suitable for future diff lock.
I thought the bouncy castle would be pretty fun
I use a front LSD in my 03 GV but they tend to make you want lots of CV's as spares on your trips. The clicking in the rear with Auto lockers is only really noticed when cornering unless you have a loose rear end and drift alot then that would get quite irritating. A spool is good and can be cheap if you weld it yourself but thus moving the damage to the weakest part which is usually the Gear box or T/case. Rear axle shafts are pretty tough and are built a bit stronger than the vehicals BHP for any 'Give' with 4wd. eg. 'Free wheel in the air then comes down and grips' wont break it about 90% of the time unless you are about 7k RPM then you will just hear a bang, then a rattle and a slow halt if moving.

. Depending on how you drive it and what you really want to get into gives you a better idea of what to look for. A budget helps and so does saving, but no point getting something overkill you will never use. Air lockers would be handy with just a flick of a switch but when they leak, it will most certainy be inside the diff where the hose has broken under pressure or slipped off the valve.
Hope you find something worth while!
