Have a question. Did a search but it was a bit conduluded.

I want to put WT diffs under my 1 liter tip top (84) model. Can I use 1.3 NT center and carrier in the WT housing? Will the axels still slot in?

I like the 4.3 reduction I have now in the 1 liter NT and want to keep it roughly the same.

What's my other options.

Your 1 litre will have 4.1:1 diffs right now, NT 1.3l is 3.9:1.

To use WT housings you have to cut off the old spring perches and weld new ones on to suit the narrower spring spacing.

I think you'l need some longer U bolts too.

Sheps selling me his WT diffs with NT spacing. I wanted to run the higher ratio 1.3 NT diffs. Thanks for the replies.

Certainly run the NT diff centres, you'll need to do some funky stuff to the tailshafts to run WT stuff.... Or just replace the flanges.

Comes with his tail shafts. All I need to do us run a swb rear shaft. I have the switched 1 liter case and already have a 1.3 and 5 speed in it. Should be really straight forward.
