Transfer case died on me 300km from home on weekend pulled out case and fixed it to get home now oil seal is leaking due to brutal repair situation need to overhaul but can't remove worm drive for speedo does anyone no how to get it out so can change main drive oil seal please help.

Multi/Vice grips. Pull and turn till it wiggles free.
