Ive managed to find a SWB efi tank for my conversion. But I found this rolling around inside. Anyone know what it is? I cant see where it would be used.  Matt

looks like a splash valve thingy that's normally in the filler hose, although completely different to the flaps I have seen on Sierra tanks.

It is a anti theft device It stops u putting a hose down the filler It usually goes in the filler neck

Well there you go. I always thought they were to stop you loosing fuel under heavy cornering.

Vit caps seal pretty good unlike sierras ones that leak everywhere when u lean over It could be for that but it does stop u from putting a hose down there as I had to remove it to drain my tank in my lwb and didn't put it back in Never had any problems
