hi all, i finally got a suspension kit and got it in today, the problem i had putting it in is that the sway bar seemed to be a bit short but i got it in with a bit of persuading and jacking, problem is that now my wheels are scrubbing out big time. my question is what can i do about this? do i need an extended sway bar for the 2" lift? what is the cheapest way i can get out of this? |

Leave it off 95% of people do, it will give you slightly better suspension articulation also

I think you can measure the offset, but honestly i dont know how lol. Someone else might be able to help you out on that. If its anything like mine was it will be rubbing either on the spring pack clamp bolt thingy or the actually springs itself. What size tyres are we talking too? And any other mods like body lifts and the like? Pics are worth a thousand words! |

My new springs had a different set up to the stock ones, the spring clamp things had a bolt to hold em together that rubbed on the inside of the tyres when it was on full lock. |

well, taking the sway bar off worked to a point, i can now go full lock without scrubbing but when im turning under breaks its still scrubbing, but i have found that its scrubbing on the bumper mount so im thinking of hitting it with the angle grinder tomorrow and seeing how that goes? or maybe someone else has a better idea? |

Ah the outriggers? If you want to keep the front bumper just see how much you can get away with grinding off, if not chop it off! |
