its happens occasionally when i hit a bump. i hear what appears to be the side door shudder as if its loose. anyone else have this problem. I also had it in my 2001 soft top

a hundred percent... its just like the doors hinge isnt tight enough or somthing its just a slight annoying shudder

Probably just the door striker needs adjusting.

My 05' jimny had a simular problem. i talked to my panel beater and he said give this ago. mark where the door lock hanger is, loosen it off a tiny bit then give it a little tap back. not to sure if its the same problem. But it worked for me.

OUr o6 Jimny as well. Doors rattled over every bump. Adjusted the striker in a little and fixed. The only issue is you have to adjust them in a fair way to stop the noise and sometimes it tkes 2 goes to shut the door, but beats the rattle...

Off topic - but does any one else have a issue with the rear door banging over bumps? Sound's like the car is going to fall apart over corrugation's

I do i try the same thing what i did to the passenger door but dont work i was going to look more in to it but i got bigger problem now
