I've got a G13BB that's going into the Coilly, and I'm going to get it rebuilt before doing the swap.
I'd like to get everything done now while the engine is out of the vehicle, with the hope that it will give years of solid service.
I'm not looking for any performance increase, just an honest motor.
What is involved in a complete rebuild ? (What should I get quoted for ? )
Any recomendations for quality parts or kits that I can source for the shop to use ?
Cheers.

Full rebuild means.. Bore block. New pistons and rings. Grind crankshaft if needed. New main bearings. Resize rods. New B/E bearings. New oil pump. New water pump. New timing belt and tensioner. Full head service. ACL are good gaskets, pistons, rings and bearings.

I had a g13 a rebuilt (ba) rebuilt it cost me 1500 but mates rates if u had a g13bb rebuilt it may cost about 2500 do to the double over head cam or maybe slightly cheaper no connections,I'd nearly get a low k 1 from a jimmy for that I mean surly u could still get a nice 1 for under 800

Its not a DOHC engine!!
We are just putting back together a G16B with new head, bored, new pistons, rings, crank machined, big end bearings, main bearings and a full gasket set for ~$1800. Head was ~$500 alone to give you an idea of the costings.
