On my Suzuki sierra I got a little bit of play where my spline is.im driving to brissy next weekend would it safe to drive.theres no noise or anything.

Well when I move my driveshaft the whole driveshaft is good it's just moves that little bit where the spline is.

It will be fine. Just sounds alittle worn.
Could of been from mud/dirt/dry spline over the years.

Thanks mate.while we are on this topic i had a check again and theres a little abit movement in the back driveshaft will be still be ok to drive long distance. There's no noise at all.

Would you drive your car knowing that it has low oil pressure? I would hope not. So knowing that your unis are worn, why would you attempt a long trip when there is a good chance your driveshaft could catapult from under your car?

200kms?? Wouldnt call that a long drive.

Ive driven 500+kms with the rear diff slopping about winding its head off with only front brakes. Travelling at 100kph for long sections. There was no other option.
By the time i got home it was quiet, for a noisy diff..
So, A small bit of play will be ok. But if your still not sure, go ask a mechanic.

isn't bundaberg to brisbane is further than 200kms i thought it take 4hrs or so.
