I just installed a UHF in my sierra.the problem I am having is people can hear me talking but I can't hear them.

external speaker? unplug it and try again, got a squelch nob or setting? turn it down

can you not hear them or is the radio not receiving? something will come up on the display if its receiving

you arent in repeater mode are ya

Repeater mode transmits on one channel but receives on another
