memory test? fail, patience test is a bigger" fail, using the search feature on this site? massive fail..

so now ive got the jets in and once warm it runs sweet and can definitely feel the difference, now its a matter of curiosity and needing to get the thing starting a bit better when cold, so obviously i need to make some adjustments, im just not sure what the 2 screws on the carby adjust and which one i should adjust for the cold start ?

Those two screws won't help you. The one at the base of the carby adjusts the idle mixture, the other one adjusts hot idle speed.

What jets did you put in it? You may want to drop back down to a close-to-standard size jet for primary and a bigger for secondary. Otherwise play with the choke and make sure that's adjusted right and working properly.

on one of the carbys i have it has 3 screws, and the one under the throttle cable i thought was the choke adjustment one? but in saying that how exactly do u adjust the choke?

the one that i have on the car now only has 2 screws..

ok, got it all together and so on now i have a ferral flat spot when i try to take off, im thinking it maybe not getting enough fuel which i can fix by putting an electric fuel pump on which i was going to do anyway???
