I have done a bit of a search but havent found anything, can i put a mk1 gti head on my 1.3 sierra block, are they they same block? the reason i ask is i have just had my sierra rebuilt 10,000k ago also what is needed to be done in the way of wiring etc for the efi? i do not have any computer etc yet. Thanks James |

I would stick with using the GTI block as they have forged internals so they can handle revs/boost a lot better than a G13A. |

Don't waste your time mate. Either sell your current motor and fit the complete GTi/loom/ecu, or live with what you've got. Hybrid motors are usually a royal pain in the ass. |

the gti pisyions have cut outs for the valves the sierrs pistons will hit the gti valves dont do it |

Run a complete motor mate, as Jimbo mentioned, the GTi runs the four fly cuts in the pistons for 16 valve head setup. Plenty of info on here for conversions on them. Cheers, Superduki. |

As above, run the complete gti, and sell your rebuilt engine. From people ive seen spend money on rebuilding the g13a or g13ba appears to be a butthurt experience, and most wish they put the money into a conversion instead. |
