i run a -15 15x7, pretty sure most others run a similar size off set on the same size tyres.

old ones were awesome, not sold on the new ones & haven't run them... would throw my money at some km2's if i was to buy muddies today.

I heard KM2s werent good due to the load rating? (the role off the rims easy)

I was looking at either the Bighorns, KL71's or federal couragia's

i run KM2's, run them at 10PSI, handle my rough driving with no rolling off the rim. i do a bit of rough sand driving, and dont really slow for corners as much as i should with low pressures.

whats the best way to measure your offset?

I have some black desert rat rims, thinking about putting the 31's on them, and my 235's on my stock rims?

I was looking at the Speedywheels site and it seems like the black desert rats dont come in the -15 offset? only the white ones?

Yeah i know its there. That doesnt say anything about colours, and off the Speedy site, this seems to matter?

http://www.speedywheels.com.au/steel.htm

White says offset is ET-15, Black says ET5.... See below

STYLE | SIZE | OFFSET |STUD PATTERN |LOAD RATING
DESERT RAT - GLOSS BLACK DUAL SILVER PINSTRIPE |15x7.0| ET5 |6 | 1180kgs
DESERT RAT - OFF WHITE RED & GREEN PINSTRIPE |15x7.0|ET-15 |5x139.7 | 1180kgs

Edit:
That black is a 6 stud, my bad... no 5 stud on there. Site must not have all the sizes

you asked about the easiest way to measure offset & speedy have both the backspace & offset measurement explained? :?

ET5 will be +5

get white ones & paint them black... problem solvered.

Yeah i asked cause no info on my 15x7's lol Bob jane gave me no info when i got them either (+ i didnt ask)

So gotta measure,
Is it just from the back of the rim to where the studs arE?

nope thats backspacing

Quote:
Understanding Offset

Fitting a set of wheels with the correct offset is most important. Yet, because there are two commonly used (but different) methods for measuring offset, much confusion reigns.

At Speedy Wheels we understand both the "backspace method" and the "centreline method", so a short explanation of each may assist you in selecting the correct offset wheels.

Backspace Method: Measure from the extreme rear edge of the rim to the hub mounting face. Distance "A" in millimetres.

Centreline Method: Measure the overall width of rim (Distance “X”), halve this measurement to find centreline then measure backspace (Distance “A”).

Subtract “A” from “X/2” and you now have the centreline offset, which in Australia is written 35P or 10N to denote either positive or negative centreline offset. In Europe, centreline offset is usually written ET35 or ET-10 etc.

NOTE: The centreline offset measurement is “rim width dependant”, ie. as the width of the rim changes, so does the centreline offset, eg. if you have 14 x 6 wheels with 47P offset and would like to fit 14 x 7 alloys with the same backspace, then the same offset in 14 x 7 is 35P. In both instances, the backspace remains at 135mm.
