Alright, done a search but couldn't find what I'm after.
I'm just wanting to know if I will get more downward travel from installing after market shocks. I have a 2" efs leaf lift and soon putting in 2" body lift. Ive been triming the front bumper and rear front inner guard seam to stop it chewing into my tyres. But yer just after a bit more flex as I said..
Jack the car up, allowing one wheel to full droop. Then remove one end of the shock, if the diff doesn't fall further, the shocks aren't limiting your travel. Do this one front and rear side, then you have your answer.
Longer shocks are only useful when you have longer travel available.
