Did a search but didn't really find much. I'm just wondering if anyone has fitted wheel spacers to there vitara? Mines got a 3 inch suspension lift with 2 inch body lift and I feel like a bit more track would make it more stable. I'm just not sure how wide I should go? I can get 1, 1.5 or 2 inch spacers but I read somewhere that any wider than 1.25 inches and your going to ruin your wheel bearings? So yeah is it worth it and what have other people on this forum ran successfully? |

Dont know about vits in particular but have seen on other vehicles spacers doing all sorts of evil things. even 1 inch! Ruins scrub radius, puts excessive strain on bearings, steering components and IMO its there dangerous. not to mention illegal |

Ditch the body life if you want more stability. |

If you choose to use spacers, use the bolt on type. and always use loctite on them. Wheel spacers will have the same effect on bearings, and scrub radius as does the same offset achieved through using rims. Id advise offset rims, over illegal wheel spacers. |

With 3 + 2 lift I've never had the worry of it tipping. Minispool + wet + worn tyres = mad helis. And yes done on private property. (work carpark) The only time I shat myself was on a gravel road fully loaded but again, didn't roll. The missus wasn't impressed.. |
