hey guys,
1 of my mates has just brought a 1998 sv420 auto, he is about to do a 2" lift and wants to buy some offroad rims and tyres to match. i am pretty sure he needs 16" to clear brakes?
best offset? best tyre size?
any help would be great
cheers

I'm currently running 235/75/15 on 15x7 mag rims, with negative 13 offset and have no problems. But my front calipers have been gone over with a belt sander to squeeze the rims over them (they are super close to hitting). With this offset the tyres will stick out a bit past the guards, also I have another set of 15's with similar offset but they are no where near clearing the calipers because the inside of the rim is stepped . I'm sure the other SV owners on here will chime soon as well with their recommendations.
