Just have a quick question in regards to a Treg Hitch. I may be purchasing a camper trailer in the coming weeks that is fitted with a Treg Hitch. Being a noob I only have a standard 50m ball attached to my tow bar and I'm guessing a Treg Hitch won't couple to it.
What do I need to change on my tow bar to get it to work and where can you buy them from?
Thanks for the help
Josh

Looks to me like you undo and remove your 50mm ball and bolt the hitch on.

its a bit taller than the 50mm ball so check your clearance on your tow ball to your door so it clears as you open it. my tow-bar is so high i have to remove the hitch from the receiver to open the rear door

Are treg hitches supposed to be pretty good?
They seem to be considerably cheaper than the "ozhitch" i was looking at.

My poly block hitch has the trailer sitting at the same height as it did with a ball hitch however the actual hitch is lower so I can now open the GVs rear door when the trailer is connected.

Since we've turned this thread into what hitch do you have, I'm going with a combination pintle hook and tow ball. It's probably going to be louder than the hitch mentioned at the top but I reckon it's going to be just fine.
