| Post subject: | Combination Switch Wiring Issues |
I have replaced the Combination switch on my SJ80 (Coily) with a switch from a SJ70 (leafy). Suzispares told me this woud work, had been done before, I just needed to cut and solder the Coily plugs to the Leafy Switch. I have done this (matching the coloured wires) and I have one extra wire (Green/red stripe) and all is not well. Every thing sort of works Dash lights do not work unless left flasher is on' Tail lights do not work unless left flasher is on' Park lights do not come on until headlights. I think the Green/red tracer wire should go to the dash lights? Red with yellow/tracer? Any help appreciated Cheers Richard T |

G/R is left turn signal. R/Y should be number plate lights and dash lights. Edit, that's what they do on an SJ70. |

Does the leafy switch have intermittent wipers? Some do some don't. |
