Can anyone advise me where is a good direction to look to purchase a set of wildcat extractors for a V6 ?

I heard the Y-pipe needs modifying too fit these extractors to the old Vitara as the Y-pipe flange come out under the cross member in a different place in the Grand Vitara which these extractors are designed to bolt up to??

Advice? Don't.

They are a long way from being a bolt-on fitment, and if you get a shop to do it for you they will hate you for it. Be prepared for them to take a full day and charge you over $500 in labour.

The extractors will bolt up to the block OK, but just about everything else causes problems. EGR pipe is a bitch to bolt up, headers will cook clutch hoses on both sides if you're manual plus battery, AC piping, brake distribution fitting... then the crossover pipe can cause issues with the front drive shaft, and all the piping from there back will need to be custom made (no biggy but be aware.)

Apparently getting them ceramic coated is worth the money to reduce the heat radiation.

That said they sound awesome with 2-2.5" piping and cat/muffler behind them...
