Bit high in asking price - but a dealer
only downside i Found was a leaky rear main seal by the looks of it. Was a dribble of oil sitting on It seems that every vitara i inspected has an oiley rear main seal and/or sump... I think this was the area (grabbed from google images)

personally looks a bit ratty to me... my blagon (SV620) had 84,000kms & i paid 5k for it 12months ago.

how about some overall picture, what you've posted doesn't show much.

EDIT: good to see the dealer has a really good detailer 8O

$7,800 w/ 138tho on the clock 8O tell him he's dreaming.

rear mains are common, might as well put a clutch in while it's out & don't expect change from $1k if you're sending it to a workshop.

I had a feeling it would come to that. Considering the prices of other cars around atm. I've dropped the box on my 300zx before; so im assuming its similar incl. the r.m. seal ?

do you have a link to the vito's factory manual ?

Considering he doesnt even know what car it is (ie. an SV420, not a X90) I'd avoid it like the plague personally. Also looks too high IMO (3" body lift maybe?), tyres look due for replacing, paint looks well used etc etc.

Something else to be aware of - a lot of the soft tops don't have A/C (including that black one by the looks of it).

Hard to tell from that interior photo but it looks like a switch blank to me (ie. no A/C).

Should have a 6th button on the far right - like this one:

personally i'd never buy someone else's project... that snorkel looks like arse, it's running wheel spacers on the front but not on the back, guess the 15x8's don't clear the calipers.

looks like it's only a 2" body lift going by the gaps & where the tow hook sits in the rear bar.

Just a warning for you when looking at v6's . In your first pic , the pic of the sump leaking ... is actually an engine out job to fix . There in the pic you can see an oval area where the sump attaches to the block , there is an oval o'ring ,fair enough can do that in the car, but the same oil gallery above that there is a round o'ring and its actually the crankshaft "girdle"
