How hard is it to put p/steer and a/c into a sierra? How hard is it to put a J20A in , does it require a stronger transfer case. donor would be a 1.3L sierra Also someone on the facebook page said there was a LWB soft top as the discussion was about a hard canopy for a LWB. Whats the differences between them also is a WT better? can you get hard canopies for them as well ? Had no luck finding a nice 2L vitara lately so im resorting back to the tin box sierra |

How hard is it to put a J20A in , does it require a stronger transfer case. donor would be a 1.3L sierra Quite hard. You'l need to chop the trans tunnel out, make new engine mounts and all sorts of things like that. The Sierra transfer should live depending on your driving style. Why do you want a J20a? A G16b is a much easier and much more well trodden path. Also someone on the facebook page said there was a LWB soft top as the discussion was about a hard canopy for a LWB. Whats the differences between them also is a WT better? can you get hard canopies for them as well ? Depends what you want to do with it. Buy a NT if you want to do heaps of hardcore offroading so you can utilize the narrower spring spacing and fit WT diffs. Otherwise, buy a WT. Do not buy a coily if you want to mod stuff. Yes you can get canopies for them, they're a little rare these days though. Had no luck finding a nice 2L vitara lately so im resorting back to the tin box sierra |

I drove a 1.6 and 2L vitara and the 2L felt better to me; in torque and top end Also someone on the facebook page said there was a LWB soft top as the discussion was about a hard canopy for a LWB. Just to clarify. You can't use Jimny A/C in a sierra. Some Sierras have A/C so you use that. A G16b goes very well in a Sierra. A J20a powered Sierra would fly. Sierras weigh a few hundred kilos less than Vits. |
