Which springs do people remove to improve flex?
Am guessing, but the load leaf on the rear (top spring in pic) and the next smallest lenght leaf on each pack and try it and see how it goes
Is there a rule of thumb :?:
Any help appreciated

I've read in both OME and King catalogs that they recommend removing the second leaf from the bottom not including the load leaf if you desire a softer spring rate.

I'd leave the load leaf in place, preferably going back to the stock one. That's just me though, plenty of people do pull them out. If you don't get any more uptravel once it contacts then it makes sense, there's a reason the stock one is a weird shape though.

FWIW in the LJ I run the top 2 leafs in the front (main and the longest secondary spring) and top 3 in the rear, plus the load leaf. I'm happy with the front but the rear needs more camber then the rate decreased. My springs are 2" heavy duty Kings, 7 and 7.5mm leafs. LJ80v is 760kgs.

OME springs. i pulled out the second from bottom and the load leaf i very quickly put the load leaf back in. high majority road and mild off road driven. happy with the results and will drive long distance "comfortably"
( in a sierra kind of way ) both leaves out was just too soft and i would refit the rear leaf if i was carrying a load for any length of time.
