the sliders i have mount to the body mounts, but i donot agree with how they do this.
its my understanding that messing with the upwards or downwards travel of a body mount is a pretty bad idea, and this is exactly what my sliders are doing.

the sliders are welded to 2 tubes that fit over the mount. there is a large washer (effectively looks like a washer) welded inside the tube for the body bolts to go through, and tensioning the nut compresses the body rubber between the body and chassis. the lower rubber effectively become floating, as it is captive inside the steel tube around it.
i think the 'washers' need to be cut out, and re welded higher so they are between the chassis and the lower rubber. still inside the tube but instead of 50mm down inside the tube, only 10mm to suit the shape of chassis
before i go chopping things up, am i wrong???
