Hi all, As the heading suggests what is everyone using as recovery points on there sierra's. I have a 96 coily and I am wanting to put some decent recovery points on but I can't find where I can put them. If anyone can post up some photos of there points or give me some suggestions that would be greatly appreciated, Cheers Pete |

i bolted hooks through my chassy, made up a big flat plate washer that slides inside the rail to resist it pulling though |

Sierra's don't need recovery points. They never get stuck. So, you must be putting them on to recover Nissans and Tojos and Jeeps, yeah? |

I wish mine knew that when I got stuck up the hill in my avatar. I was extracted from that one by a GU I use the tow bar with the ball removed on the back. I use the tie down point at the front for light recoveries (which I do not recommend as it can cause damage to the sierra) If I were you, I'd belt a pipe though the pipe at the front of the chassis, then make some plates with points attached to them, like this: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7930&hilit=shep+proof+bar ![]()
