Hi all,

Over the weekend I picked up a '76 Lj50 with the intention to restore it to its former glory. Overall the car is in good condition (slight surface rust, dents here and there, engine runs).

Being perfectly honest, I have limited mechanically / body knowledge, but am hoping to use this project as an opportunity to learn and restore it at the same time. I am from Melbourne and was hoping someone locally could point me in the right direction. Initially, I am looking for a mechanic / work shop / knowledgable person to look over the car mechanical and some contacts of restorers, who might be able to help.
