Hi guys, I have a 91 Suzuki Sierra and just took it offroad, only to find I wasn't getting any drive to the front wheels. I've done a quick search and all I could find was people saying it's probably a hub issue however, the front shaft was not spinning which makes me think it's to do with the transfer case. Also the 4wd light on the dash has stopped working.
Are these issues linked? and is there an easy explanation that hopefully wont cost much?

Well when I bought the car it had reduction gears in it. So when I go into 4L i can definitely feel the difference in the gearing which makes me think that it is something to do with the transfer not putting power to the front.
I've had the car for a while now but last week was the first time offroad and early on when I had just bought it the 4wd light worked fine so I'm a bit confused.
so you shift into 4H then from 4H into 4L and you can feel the reduction difference. cool.
i would say of the front shaft isnt turning some thing is wrong inside your transfer. it may have been assembled incorrectly when the gears were put in. or worse some thing is broken.
