Hello All I have a valve /rocker noise that has me beat. I have adjusted the rockers as per specs and even less than the specs but the noise is still there. I have replaced the valve stem seals and was wondering if I could have fitted the rocker shaft the wrong way around or if the guides could cause the tapping sound. Any help on this would be appreciated Thanks

Can you pin point the noise? How does the cam and rocker rollers look?

Im not sure if happens on the small motors but check for macrospalling and galling or breaking up of the hardened surface. Look for any rough surface on the metal to metal contact point on the cam.
Could be a injector but hard to say without hearing it. How long has it been doing it for?

It was doing it before I pulled it down and changed the head gasket I thought they just needed to be adjusted .The big problem is I cant run it with no rocker cover as it throws to much oil everywhere. Its a 1 litre F10A sorry I forgot to mention that.
