Would an optima yellow top (D34) be suitable to run as a main battery? Plan is to eventually get a second one and run both together on a dual battery setup.

Yellow tops are fine for starting and have limited deep cycle capacity aswell. If a d34 fits your car and the cca outpit is equal or greater then what your starter requires your fine
