Hey Guys

After a long road trip last weekend ive noticed my diff has been getting quite loud under load. Finally had a chance to jump under the zook today and it appears the front seal is buggered.

My question
Ive seen lots of diff rebuid kits out there. Are any of these a decent option to go with. Can I replace the bearings without having to redo the preload as ive never rebuilt a diff and dont have any special service tools to do so. That being said is the preload already stuffed since it only whines under load?

Alternatively does anyone near Sydney have a spare centre they would want to sell?

Ebay kits with jap bearings are good.
Theres no quick fix, it would need to be properly setup as its all out of spec at the moment.

Easiest option is to find a replacement.

Depending on your gearing, tyre choice and budget, it could be an opportunity to look at other diff gear ratios.

Yeah i think i'll take this chance to look for some NT centers to bring the gearing a little closer to stock with my 31's.

Has anyone got some NT Centers they want to sell?
