Im gunna change the brake fluid in the short GV tomorrow arvo just wondering how much brake fluid ill need and any recommendations on brands? |

i've always allowed for 2 bottles when doing a flush. |

With brake fluid i find it hard to see the value in anything other than the cheapest that meets your required DOT. If they are certified to meet a level then thats that. Especially if you are doing a complete flush as there is no issue of 'mixing formulas' |

There is an issue mixing of formulas but you'd have to be a ninny or the guy before you a ninny and got some of the specific non mixable types Just grab some Castrol or Penrite stuff, be good enough |

Royce do you think if you are completely purging the original fluid that the residue in mixing would be an issue. As i imagine it if you are pushing the fluid through the lines and where the two fluids touch there may be some mixing but the general pressure will move it all out. Eg: System including lines holds 900ml. If you push 1000ml through the system then 100mls has come out during the bleeding. |

Buy a different colour fluid. New colour at the bleeder= fresh fluid. |
